(1) After receiving the application according to sub-rule (2) of Rule 4, the government of Nepal shall decide whether or not to appoint the applicant as a notary and send the application back to the office.

(2) According to sub-rule (1), if the application is returned after deciding to be appointed as a notary public, the office shall charge a fee of one hundred rupees to the applicant and give a certificate of appointment as a notary public in the format of Schedule-1. The notice should be published by the Government of Nepal in the Nepal Gazette.
